Brand Leadership Team busy finalizing Squamish’s Brand Action Plan

While the summer event and tourism season is in full swing keeping the majority of locals hopping, a group of passionate community members are working behind the scenes to finalize work on the Squamish Brand Enhancement project. The volunteer committee has now transitioned to a Brand Leadership Team (BLT) and is currently editing the 50+ recommendations in the Brand Action Plan before providing it to Council and the community in September.

Downtown Squamish is about to become an outdoor movie theatre, a concert hall, a gathering place and an open-air street market thanks to the return of the Downtown Squamish Summer Event Series for a second consecutive year. This year’s series includes some of last year’s favourites as well as two new events, all taking place in Downtown Squamish during the month of August.
