In order to facilitate and coordinate media inquiries in Squamish during the 2010 Olympic Games, Tourism Squamish in cooperation with the District of Squamish will operate a Media Centre based out of the Squamish Adventure Centre, effective February 1, 2010.
The Squamish Media Centre will be available to working media during the 2010 Olympic Games, February 1 – 28, 2010. It will be open as follows:
February 1-11 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
February 12- 28 8:00 am –8:00 pm
The Squamish Adventure Centre is located at the intersection of Highway
99 and Cleveland Avenue (google maps). It features complimentary
workspace, high-speed internet connections, a café and quiet rooms for
interviews. Printing and photocopying services are available at a
nominal fee.

The Squamish Media Centre will provide Squamish story leads, facilitate
interviews (with local spokespeople), provide access to HD footage of
