Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue-Station 04 provides 24 hour marine search and rescue support with two rescue vessels: a Titan T-Top, the main response vessel, and a Tornado (Delta 3 configuration), the secondary training vessel.
The Howe Sound Marine Rescue Society is a nonprofit organization that raises funds for the station by hosting fundraising events and applying for grants. Funds raised are used for the ongoing maintenance of the rescue vessels and to upgrade equipment.
