Susan Chapelle

Councillor Susan Chapelle is involved in bringing the importance of preventative medicine to a larger forum.  In 2011, Susan was elected to Squamish City Council, where she continues to advocate for small business, health care and active transportation.  Susan is a recent graduate of the Community Economic Development program at Simon Fraser University, and is currently funded by the National Institute of Health through the University of New England to examine mechanisms of manual therapy through neuroscience.

She is an educator, researcher, people advocate and mama of two beautiful girls.
