BC Hydro notification of Daisy Lake Dam discharge

BC Hydro has issued another alert regarding a discharge of higher volumes of water from the Daisy Lake Dam.

Residents downstream of Daisy Lake Dam, including those in Paradise Valley, should use caution around rivers and streams, and be aware that levels may increase quickly and without warning.

The District of Squamish continues to monitor the situation and liaise with BC Hydro, taking any precautionary measures necessary. Additional information will be posted as it becomes available.
