The Hydro Box Wrap Design competition entry deadline has been extended to Friday, January 18, 2013.

The District of Squamish, Squamish Arts Council and the Downtown Squamish Business Improvement Area Association are looking for creative designs to wrap three hydro boxes located within the downtown core.

Designs should be influenced by the uniqueness of Squamish and the surrounding community, and should reflect the thematic keywords: outdoor recreation capital of Canada, lifestyle, and culture.

This competition is open to all Squamish residents including youth, students, professional and emerging artists. Cash prizes of $500 or $750 (for a double-box) are being offered for the chosen designs.
