Pilot Application Process

We discourage applicants and immigration consultants to visit the District of Squamish prior to being qualified through the B.C. PNP EI Regional Pilot Official Intake Process.
District of Squamish staff will not meet and greet potential applicants or their immigration consultants unless qualified through the official intake process.
All questions relating to participation in the regional pilot should be directed to the Province of B.C. En.Imm@gov.bc.ca


Our intake process for Squamish B.C. PNP site visits is now open. 

Please follow Steps 1-4 and review the information below before filling out our intake form. 

The Squamish pilot will only accept applications for business startups focused on the green economy.


Green economy businesses include those that develop technologies that reduce dependence on natural resources, help shift away from dependence on fossil fuels, support a transition to a zero waste economy and enable the earth to remain below 1.5⁰c. Only companies focused on green building technology, clean energy, construction or efficient technologies will be considered.

For consideration, proposed business startups must be classified within the 541 - Professional, scientific and technical services North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS).

Applications with business ideas outside these sectors will not be considered.

If selected for a site visit, applicants must be present for the site visit. Verification documents may be requested prior to qualifying for a site visit.

The District will review up to a maximum of 10 applications per month in the order that they are received.

After completing Steps 1-4, launch the intake form below to request a site visit hosted by the Squamish Economic Development office.  Applications are reviewed on a monthly basis, maximum ten per month.  If you are selected for a site visit, you will be notified at the District of Squamish's discretion. Due to the high volume of applicants, we appreciate your patience at this time.
