This application, if approved, would vary the minimum distance separating a carriage house from the principal residence by 1.22 m (4 ft). The Zoning Bylaw currently requires a separation of 4.9 m (16 ft) between the carriage house and principal residence, the proposed variance would enable the carriage house to be built 3.68 m (12 ft) from the principal residence.
