Blessed Coast Overview

Temporary Use Permits (TUP) allow for a use that the current zoning bylaw does not permit for a period up to 3 years.

This application is to add campground and assembly uses to the RE (resource) zone on the property. Specifically the application proposes a 300 tent site campsite and area for RV parking to support the 2015 Squamish Valley Music Festival (SVMF). For the SVMF, cars would be parked on-site with no exit during the weekend. A shuttle service to the festival will be provided. Post- SVMF, camping would be scaled down to support on-site events such as  weddings, horse events and small film and concert events. No site clearing is needed and all new infrastructure proposed is temporary.

If approved, the TUP would allow the use for a period of up to 3 years.
