'Why We Cycle' Squamish Premiere

Join us for a free screening and the Squamish premiere of the Dutch documentary "Why We Cycle" in celebration of cycling during Bike to Work and School Week!

“Why We Cycle” takes a ride with ordinary cyclists and specialists from a variety of disciplines. These conversations uncover some obvious, but even more hidden effects of cycling, on people, on societies, and on the organization of cities. Talking about why we cycle means we are dealing with a bigger questions; What kind of society we want us to be?"

The 56-minute film will be followed by panel discussion with local bicycle enthuasists, District of Squamish staff, and energy and transportation experts.
