Squamish Days Loggers Sports Festival

The Squamish Days Loggers Sports Festival returns Friday, August 2. Please be advised of the following road closures and traffic impacts during the 62nd annual event:

Friday, August 2

  • 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. – Winnipeg Street from Cleveland Avenue to Loggers Lane CLOSED
  • 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. – Cleveland Avenue from Pemberton Street to Victoria Street CLOSED
  • No parking along Cleveland Avenue from Pemberton Street to Victoria Street
  • 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. – Cleveland Avenue from Junction Park to O’Siyam Pavilion CLOSED

Saturday, August 3

  • 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Main Street between Cleveland Avenue and Loggers Lane CLOSED
  • No parking along Main Street from Cleveland Avenue to Loggers Lane

Sunday, August 4

  • 6:45 a.m. to 12 p.m. – Cleveland Avenue from Pemberton Ave to Vancouver Street CLOSED
  • Intersections at Vancouver Street, Main Street, Victoria Street, and Winnipeg Avenue CLOSED
  • South side of intersection at Pemberton Avenue and Cleveland Ave CLOSED
  • 8:20 a.m. to 8:35 a.m. – Buckley Ave at Howe Sound Secondary Please expect minor delays for 8k race start
  • 8:25 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. – Buckley Avenue, Queens Way, and Government Road to Mamquam Road Please watch for traffic marshalls and runners 


Monday, August 5

  • 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Cleveland Avenue from Junction Park to U Siyam Pavilion CLOSED

Parking at the Loggers Sports Grounds

  • Watch for parking attendants when you arrive at the Al McIntosh Loggers Sports Grounds, they will direct you to one of the adjacent parking lots.
  • Please obey posted No Parking signs along Loggers Lane, otherwise you may be towed or ticketed.
  • Parking near the Al McIntosh Loggers Sports Grounds is limited; please consider carpooling, transit or riding your bike. A free Bike Valet service will be on site.
  • Accessible parking to visitors with the appropriate permit will be reserved close to the festival grounds.
