Proposed Variance:
The general intent and purpose of this proposed Development Variance Permit No. 159 is to vary:
- District of Squamish Zoning Bylaw No. 2200, 2011 Section 8.6 Minimum Setbacks for Principal Buildings Front Setback:
- FROM: 7.62 m;
- TO: 0.61 m.
- District of Squamish Zoning Bylaw No. 2200, 2011 Section 8.6 (a) Minimum Setbacks for Principal Buildings
- FROM: For lot created prior to the date of adoption of District of Squamish Zoning Bylaw No. 1342, 1995, the exterior side setback shall be 4.57 metres;
- TO: For lot created prior to the date of adoption of District of Squamish Zoning Bylaw No. 1342, 1995, the exterior side setback shall be 0.61 metres.
The purpose of the variances is to accommodate the construction of a secondary suite above a garage.

People who believe that their interest in property is affected by the proposed variance will have an opportunity to be heard and to present written submissions at the Special Business Meeting meeting on February 2, 2021 being held at 6 p.m.
