The BC River Forecast Centre has ended the High Streamflow Advisory for the South Coast including, Howe Sound, the Stawamus River and surrounding creeks.
A strong Pacific storm system passed over south-west British Columbia over the past two days. Total rainfall amounts since Monday have ranged from 50-120 mm throughout the South Coast, with additional snow melt at lower elevations. Precipitation eased beginning early Thursday morning.
