The District of Squamish Paving Program rehabilitates roads that are in need of maintenance. Each year the District of Squamish (DOS) budgets approximately $800,000 for upgrades. Generally 10 to 20 roads are rehabilitated each year.
The five-year outlook is based on a Pavement Management Program (PMP) developed by EBA Engineering. The PMP assessed all the roads within Squamish and provided the optimal funding level that will sustain quality and value of the District's pavement network.
The 2017 Paving Program began the week of April 17 and will continue through approximately the end of September. Work is weather dependent so scheduling may change through out the construction season. A portion of the roads in the table and map below are planned in conjunction with the DOS watermain replacement projects and paving is dependent on replacement projects being completed prior to paving.
For any inquiries regarding the Paving Program, please contact Josianne Roy, Engineering Technician at 604.815.5051 or by email.
