The District of Squamish Paving Program rehabilitates roads that are in need of maintenance. Each year the District of Squamish (DOS) budgets approximately $800,000 for upgrades.
The Paving Program road selection is based on the District’s Pavement Management Program (PMP), current road conditions, and other infrastructure projects happening in Squamish that affect the pavement. The PMP assessed all the roads within Squamish, prioritizes resurfacing and provides the optimal funding level that will sustain the quality and value of the District's pavement network. This Pavement Management Program will be updated this year to assess and prioritize road rehabilitation for future years.
The 2018 Paving Program could begin as early as May and will continue until approximately the end of October. Work is weather dependent so scheduling may change throughout the construction season. A portion of the roads in the table below are planned in conjunction with other DOS infrastructure projects and paving is dependent on these projects being completed prior to paving.
