Corridor Trail Lighting Projects
The District is undertaking two lighting projects on the Corridor Trail this year. The District’s vision for the Corridor Trail is to create a 3 metre wide, paved and lit path for the entire length of the trail from the north to south ends of Squamish. Lighting these two segments get us closer to achieving that vision. The segments are located from:
- Along Loggers Lane between the Adventure Centre and Finch Drive, and
- long Highway 99 between Mamquam Rd and the Highway 99 Mamquam Bridge. Lighting these sections will connect with previously lit sections of the trail and further the District’s goal of building infrastructure for all ages and abilities that encourages active transportation while also providing alternatives to driving.
