Watermain upgrades set to begin

Water system improvements will soon be underway. These upgrades will help to replace aging water infrastructure and increase water flow rates to these neighbourhoods and are funded through grants from the Clean Water and Wastewater Fund. 

Phase 1:

• Skyline Drive from Braemar Drive to The Boulevard, and The Boulevard from Skyline Drive to Ayr Drive (Beginning May 2017)
• Depot Road from Peterson Road to Dogwood Place including a connection to Ross Road and Arrowhead Road (Beginning June 2017)
• New Pressure Reducing Valve station in Valleycliffe at the corner of Plateau Drive and Westway Avenue (Beginning July 2017)

Phase 2:

• Government Road from Eagle Run to 100 metres east of the Depot Road intersection (Beginning June 2017)

Join us at a public open house on Tuesday, May 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Brackendale Art Gallery. A brief presentation will begin at 6 p.m. followed by the opportunity to ask questions and connect with District staff.  

Timeframe: Mid-May through October

Traffic Impact: Please expect traffic delays and single-lane alternating traffic. To avoid delays, please plan your route around the work areas whenever possible.
