Construction Projects and Traffic Impacts

This list provides information about planned projects that may impact traffic during the upcoming week. Weather, unforeseen issues, and emergencies may cause schedule changes without notice.

Government Road from Edgewater Crescent to No Name Road

Storm water improvements underway followed by curb, gutter and sidewalk improvements later this summer. Please expect minor delays.

Early fall 2018

Private Contractor

Loggers Lane and Corridor Trail between Finch Drive and Brennan Park Recreation Centre

Single lane alternating traffic and minor delays. Trail is expected to remain open, however, please pay close attention to signage.

Mid-June

District of Squamish

South side of Main Street between Cleveland Avenue and Second Avenue

Sidewalk closed. Lane way is open.

Summer 2018

Private Contractor

Third Avenue at Victoria Street and Third Avenue at Main Street

Ongoing construction. Expect minor delays for delivery of construction materials. A temporary four-way stop sign will be in place at Third and Victoria for the duration of construction.

December 2018

Private contractor projects are undertaken by a developer or utility. Private contractor projects are approved through the District's work permit process.
