Construction Projects and Traffic Impacts

This list provides information about planned projects that may impact traffic during the upcoming week. Weather, unforeseen issues, and emergencies may cause schedule changes without notice.

Diamond Head Road

Bull pullout and paving. Please expect delays and single-lane alternating traffic. Plan your route around the work area whenever possible to avoid delays.

District of Squamish

Second Avenue between Winnipeg Street and Victoria Street

Traffic pattern changed. West-side sidewalk closed temporarily until a covered sidewalk is built. Street parking restrictions in effect. Additional parking will be made available in a parking lot across from the construction site.

Spring 2020

Highway 99 at Clarke Drive

Work on the bridge that will provide access to Waterfront Landing. Please expect minor traffic delays.

Private contractor projects are undertaken by a developer or utility. Private contractor projects are approved through the District's work permit process.
