Why is this plan being done?

There is considerable interest in redevelopment in this neighbourhood.  The District has initiated this plan to review the current zoning regulations and to consider whether additional density or housing forms are appropriate.  The review has also considered requirements for open space, active transportation routes (pedestrian/cycling) and infrastructure upgrades.

What will the plan contain?

The plan contains background information and a series of guidelines that are intended to be endorsed by Council to guide future development applications.

When will the plan be adopted?

The “Micro Plan” will be considered by Council on September 18, 2018, and is intended to be formally endorsed as Council policy to guide future development.
