Network, Telecommunications & Cellular Mobility Services - RFP

The District of Squamish utilizes a number of telecommunication services for its internal operations in order to provide services to the community efficiently and effectively. As the District moves forward with the Technology Transformation Program, it is vital that underlying telecommunications technology continues to grow to support these new systems. A number of service agreements are up for renewal and the replacement/renewal of these services has been combined into one Request for Proposals.

Required services include the Managed Network connecting 12 locations throughout the District; related management, monitoring, and backup connection services; Internet services at most of these sites for staff and the public; phone trunk connections; and mobility voice, data, and device services. Service providers can submit proposals for one, several, or all services listed. They also have the option of partnering with other providers, designating one as the primary vendor. Questions can be submitted to TelcoRFP@squamish.ca.

Service providers are asked to monitor this webpage for updates and shared responses to vendor questions.
