Official Community Plan Update

**Phase 2 Update:

Phase 2 is now complete. Thank you to everyone who shared their input by hosting or attending an OCPizza Party or by submitting individual feedback using our online workbooks. Please note the workbook links were live during the Phase 2 period of April 15 - May 16, 2016. If you would like to still like to provide input on a specific topic, please click here to email our planning department directly.  Stay tuned for Phase 3 details later this summer!

The District of Squamish is updating its Official Community Plan, a process that takes place every five to 10 years. We invite all Squamish residents to stay up-to-date and get involved and provide your input throughout this four-phased review process.

Over 1,200 residents shared their ideas in Phase 1. Learn more about what we heard.

How to Get Involved

1

Host an OCPizza Night - Food is on us!

Some of the best ideas are generated sitting around the dining table with friends. Help us harness this energy - bring together a small group of friends/neighbours/colleagues to discuss draft policy directions and tradeoffs, and the District will reimburse hosts $30 towards food costs (for groups of four or more). Workbooks will be provided to guide your discussion.

Learn more about how to host a successful OCPizza Party.

View the online workbooks. Download printable workbooks. (We strongly encourage you to submit group or individual input in the online format but you can also submit paper workbooks to the District. Printable paper workbooks will be useful for participants to browse through during the group discussions).

Workbooks can be completed and submitted individually as well.

The deadline to submit workbooks is May 16, 2016.
