Need something fixed? Bring your broken item to the Repair Café, where our skilled volunteers will help you with the repair - for free!
Whether it's missing buttons, a crooked stool, a broken photo frame, or jewelry with a tricky clasp, bring it to the Repair Café! Over tea and a muffin, skilled volunteers will guide you through the repair process – at no cost!
The Fall Repair Café will have fixers who can help with the following areas/items:
1. Sewing and mending clothes, patching holes and tears, sewing on buttons, and restitching
2. Bike repairs and tune-ups
3. Knitting – anything yarn related
4. Furniture repairs
5. Small appliances and electronics
6. Eyecare fixes
7. Jewelry repairs
8. General carpentry
9. Ski and snowboard edge sharpening and waxing
Our volunteers will do their best to help with all repairs!
Bring the kids! We'll have a Tinkerbell station where kids can playfully take apart toys and electronics.
Please ensure that the clothes you bring are clean. Our sewing team is always in high demand, so we kindly ask that you limit yourself to three textile or clothing items.
