Trucked Liquid Waste

This facility is available to qualified liquid waste carriers for the disposal of liquid waste generated within the District of Squamish and Area D of the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District.

🚫 The facility is not available to recreational vehicles (RVs), personal vehicles, or mobile food vendors.

✅ Accepted:

Liquid waste from:

  • Septic tanks
  • Holding tanks
  • Portable toilets

⚠️ Not accepted:

  • Fats, oils, or grease are NOT accepted. 

Fees

Septage tipping fee: $56.76 per cubic metre

Requirements for Use

To use the Septage Receiving Station, carriers must have an account.

New account requests can be completed through the online eApply Dashboard.  

Before applying, ensure you have:

  • Proof of current business licence with the District of Squamish
  • Signed Trucked Liquid Waste Contract form
  • Provide a copy of WorkSafe BC Clearance Letter
  • A certificate of insurance confirming that the Company has:
    • $5,000,000 commercial general liability insurance 
    • Named the District of Squamish as additional insured.
    • A term in the policy that the insurer must give 30 days’ notice of cancellation or material change of said insurance.

Once the required documentation has been approved and pre-payment has been received, an access code and PIN will be issued for the Septage Receiving Station.

⚠️ Access to the stations is not transferable between customers.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Visit the MyCity Login and Registration page to create a new account or login to an existing one.

  • Click "Create an Account" or
  • Click "Login"

 

When completed:

  • log out from the newly created account; then
  • move on to the next step of REQUEST-NEW SEPTAGE LIQUID WASTE ACCOUNT below.

Click on "Request - New Septage Liquid Waste account" button.

Upload all required documents. Once your new account is processed, we will email you the Access number for online payments.

Payments can be made online, by cash or cheque in person at the Building department at Municipal Hall or by mailing a cheque to:

After Public Works receives your payment confirmation, we will notify you to confirm the credit to your account.

Ask the truck driver to go to the Public Works office at 39909 Government Road to pick up a key.
