Community Satisfaction Survey
Community Satisfaction Surveys are common in many municipalities and give local governments reliable feedback on services, priorities, and quality of life, helping guide decisions and resource allocation. They also support accountability by tracking performance over time and showing residents that their input is used.
The District of Squamish 2025 Satisfaction Survey was a scientific and comprehensive survey that was mailed to a random sample of residents across all Squamish neighbourhoods. The sample was generated so that each residence in Squamish had an equal opportunity for being selected for the research. This allowed us to reach people who typically do not participate in surveys. A digital version of the survey was also shared through the District’s communications channels for residents to complete outside of the random sample. These results were compiled and compared to the sample.
Below is a highlight of some of the findings from 2025.
