Community Agreements
Community Agreements are the District's formal process for collaborating with non-profit and charitable organizations on community-based projects that directly improve the lives of residents and help shape Squamish's future.
Community Agreements provide the framework and streamline how the District of Squamish formally collaborates with non-profit and charitable organizations to deliver community programs, services, and infrastructure. These collaborations must align with the District’s plans and directly benefit Squamish residents.
All agreements are governed by the Community Agreements Policy, approved by Council on April 15, 2025.
⚠ Important — 2026 Submissions: For 2026, the submission period is open to existing Community Collaborators that currently have an agreement in place with the District. As the Community Agreements Policy continues to roll out in phases, future submission opportunities will be announced on this website, and through the District’s social media channels.
