Current District of Squamish special event and program impacts

Postponed special events due to ongoing job action:

• Repair Café
• Kid’s Clothing, Book & Toy Swap
• Budget Information Night

Recreation and Culture:

The following programs will be offered for free (or donation to the Squamish Food Bank appreciated):

• Saturday, October 11 Public skate
• Sunday, October 12 Family and Public skates
• Sunday, October 12 Little Sneakers
• Monday, October 13 Parent and Child Hockey and Public Skate

The pool will reopen on October 18 with the following reduced hours due to staff shortages unrelated to job action (subject to change):

• Sunday and Monday: Closed
• Tuesday to Friday: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Saturday: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Swimming lessons will be offered at a reduced capacity due to staff shortages.

Swim lessons will be limited to one lesson set per child.

Fall aquatics programs will be viewable online beginning October 15.

Fall aquatics program registration will begin October 21 at 8 a.m.
