RCMP searching for dangerous dog

Squamish RCMP seeking assistance in locating dangerous dog taken from Squamish Pound

Squamish RCMP are requesting assistance in locating a dangerous dog which was taken from the Squamish Pound during a break and enter to the facility overnight.
In the early morning hours of October 9th, 2020, the Squamish Pound located on Government Road was broken into by unknown persons and a dog was taken from the facility. The dog, named "Max", had been declared a dangerous dog by Squamish bylaw due to aggressive behaviour towards people and there is a concern the dog may hurt someone again.
Police are looking for information as to who is responsible for breaking into the facility and taking Max, as well as the location of the animal. Max is described as a male, German Shepherd cross, black and tan in colour.
