Protective Services encompasses Fire Rescue, RCMP, the Squamish Emergency Program and Community Bylaw Services.

The goals and objectives of Protective Services are directed towards making the community of Squamish a safer environment in which to live, learn, work and play.

Community Bylaw Services

Report a bylaw or animal control concern, dispute or pay a bylaw ticket.

Emergency Program

Keeping Squamish safe and prepared to respond and recover from emergencies.

Fire Rescue

Squamish Fire Rescue is dedicated to providing an effective service to our community through Prevention, Education and Emergency Response.

Public Access AED

Defibrillators are available at six public locations in Squamish.

RCMP

Squamish RCMP are contracted through the Province of British Columbia for the municipality’s policing services.

Squamish Alert

When an emergency occurs, telephone, text, email or mobile app messages will be sent to all registered contacts in the impacted area.
