How the District is Preparing

The District of Squamish Emergency Program is responsible for coordinating plans and procedures to mitigate against, prepare for, respond to and recover from large-scale emergencies and disasters. Emergency Program staff work in partnership with local first response agencies and District departments to develop and implement plans and programs to build community resiliency and protect against disasters.
