District of Squamish receives $25K in child care action planning funds

The District of Squamish has been successful in receiving a $25,000 grant from the Community Child Care Planning Program, a partnership between the Province and the Union of British Columbia Municipalities (UBCM). The funding will support the Squamish Community Child Care Action Planning and Implementation Project to develop an action plan for creating new child care spaces and improved access to affordable child care in our community.
