Rainfall Warning Issued for Howe Sound

A strong Pacific weather system will arrive Sunday night bringing rain and strong winds to the South Coast. For Howe Sound, rain, at times heavy, will start this evening and continue through Monday night. Heavy rain will ease to scattered showers Monday night in the wake of the storm. A rainfall amount of 25 to 65mm is anticipated.

Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads.
