Booking inspections, inspector hours and permit processing times

Spring is finally here! As construction picks up, please note the following reminders from the Building Department: 

Book early:

Please book your inspections five business days in advance. View the Master Building Inspection List. 

Current permit processing times:

Residential: 8 weeks

Commercial and Multi-unit Residential: 12 weeks

Inspector Hours:

Building inspectors are available to answer questions and receive building permit applications during the following inspector hours:

Monday to Thursday: 8 to 10 a.m. and 2:30 to 5 p.m.

Friday: 8:30 to 10 a.m. and 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
