Fare Change in Squamish
BC Transit and the District of Squamish are advising customers of a fare change, effective March 30, 2026.
This fare change is the result of a fare review conducted by BC Transit and the District of Squamish in late 2025. This represents the first fare adjustment since September 2017 and helps align fares with inflation and rising operating costs.
This change comes with the introduction of OnDemand service in the Squamish region. Starting on March 30, OnDemand will operate in the Oceanfront, SEAandSKY, Redbridge, and St’á7mes neighbourhoods. OnDemand will operate Monday to Friday from 8:15 a.m. until 6:45 p.m.
