Youth Council Application

The Squamish Youth Council is open to all youth aged 14 to 24. If you would like to apply to join the Squamish Youth Council, please complete the application form below by Wednesday, September 24, 2025.

OUR GOALS:

To amplify the voice of Squamish youth in matters and projects that directly impact them.
To create and support youth-centered projects and programming that align with the Squamish Youth Strategy.
To encourage civic engagement amongst Squamish youth.
To connect youth with community leaders, politicians and organizations for the purpose of sharing ideas and feedback.
To create a legacy that gives Squamish youth a seat at the decision-making table for years to come.

Considering your other commitments, are you able to dedicate the first Wednesday of each month from 5:45-8:30pm AND approximately 5 hours per month between meetings to fully participate in Youth Council?

By completing this application, I am committing to attend ALL 10 Youth Council meetings. Exceptions will only be granted in unique circumstances such as illness or out of town sports/dance/school event.
