Rainfall warning in effect for Howe Sound

Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for Howe Sound. Rain, at times heavy, is expected.

A strong Pacific storm is expected for Thursday afternoon and Friday with an anticipated 60 to 90 mm of rainfall. Light rain or showers are expected to continue through Saturday.

Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
