Temporary Use Permit #44
Target Real Estate Development Corp has applied for a Temporary Use Permit to permit operation of a mobile presentation centre (trailer) in the parking lot at Sea to Sky Hotel at 40330 Tantalus Way. The purpose of the trailer is to provide local real estate information to locals and visitors.
The property is zoned C-3 (Tourist Commercial). The proposed use for mobile presentation centre is considered a business office use, which is not currently permitted in the C3 Zone. If approved, the TUP would allow the use for a period of up to 3 years (specific length of permit term is under consideration).
This application is eligible for delegated approval by GM of Development Services (will not be considered by District Council) per the District’s Land Development Procedures Bylaw 2229, 2013. Opportunity for public comment is provided; all public input received will be considered by the General Manager in review of the TUP application.
