Official Community Plan (OCP) Update

timeline new

*UPDATE The Draft Official Community Plan (OCP) is almost ready for review; public input will be sought between mid-May and mid-June.

A 12-page executive summary of the OCP Discussion Draft will be distributed through the Squamish Chief newspaper mid-May, and at District facilities throughout the community. The full OCP Discussion Draft will be available online for public review and input.

Watch for District Planning staff who will be popping up in a neighbourhood near you to spread the word about the OCP public review period, answer your questions and invite you to get involved. They will be out and about over a few weeks hitting a variety of local spots and connecting with as many people as possible.

Public feedback and input can be provided on the OCP Discussion Draft through feedback forms available online or at District facilities. Forms can be submitted electronically or via hard copy.

Save the date!

A public “deep dive” drop-in event will be held on Wednesday, May 24 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Brennan Park Recreation Centre
