Cleveland Avenue between Pemberton and Buckley Avenues will be closed November 14 from 3-11am

CN Rail has informed us that crews will be removing their decommissioned tracks on Cleveland Avenue near Buckley Avenue on Thursday, November 14.

This will require a full closure of Cleveland Avenue between Pemberton Avenue and Buckley Avenue. This closure and detour will be in effect from 3 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Single-lane alternating traffic will be in effect to turn on and off Hunter Place between Cleveland Avenue and Loggers Lane. Detours will direct southbound traffic down Loggers Lane to access Downtown, and northbound traffic leaving Downtown will turn left onto Hunter Place while south/eastbound traffic is stopped.

An alternative route to the schools would be to use Industrial Way to Buckley Avenue (and exit the same way) to avoid Cleveland entirely.

Please expect traffic delays and allow extra time if travelling to and from Downtown Squamish the morning of November 14. Traffic control personnel and signage will be in place.

Thank you for your understanding as CN completes this work.
