Access Property Tax and Utility notices online using MyCity account

The District is notifying residents in the event that a potential Canada Post strike could disrupt mail delivery. This could result in a delay in receiving Property Tax and Utility notices by mail.

Property owners are encouraged to create a MyCity account to access Property Tax and Utility notices online.

With MyCity, residents can:

• View account information.
• Sign up to receive Property Tax and Utility notices by email.

Please note utilities and property tax balances cannot be paid through the District's MyCity Account online services. 

How to create a MyCity account:

1. Go to my.squamish.ca
2. Log in using your existing account OR click on “Create an Account” and follow the prompts.
   • If you have a Squamish Recreation and Culture registration account, you can use the same account and add your property taxes and utility accounts to it.

How to register your Tax and Utility Bills to MyCity:

1. Log in to MyCity at my.squamish.ca
2. Click on “Register/Edit Accounts”
3. Select Register Account
4. Click on Register Tax Account for registering a tax account
   • You will need the folio number and access code found on your Tax Bill or Reminder Letter from 2024
5. Click on Register Utility Account for registering a Utility Account
   1. • *PLEASE NOTE YOUR UTILITY ACCOUNT WILL HAVE A DIFFERENT ACCESS CODE*
      • You will need the folio number and access code found on your Utility Bill or Reminder Letter from 2024.
6. To receive notices by email, select “Change Bill Delivery Method”
   • This will show you all the accounts you have registered and how you are receiving your bills and notices for each.

How to see your Bill(s) for your registered accounts

• • Log in to MyCity
  • On the homepage of your MyCity, scroll down and click on either your Property Tax or Utility account
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the Property Tax or Utility Account page to see the “Notices and Reminders” section
  • Click on the 2025 Tax or Utility Notice to open it

Property owners with more than one utility account will need to set up a separate account for each utility account in MyCity.
