Industrial Way/ Highway 99 Ditch Remediation

Project Information

Storm ditch remediation work at the intersection of Industrial Way and Highway 99 will take place beginning mid-August and continue through mid-September. This will increase ditch capacity, improve hydraulics and decrease surcharging issues in the Industrial Way storm system.

Traffic Management

There will be intermittent Discovery Trail closures throughout the upgrades. Detours will be marked for cyclists and pedestrians via Production Way. 

Construction Impacts

Temporary closures of Discovery Trail with Detour via Production Way:

• One-week closure in mid-August. Anticipated dates August 12–16
• Three to five day closure late August. Anticipated dates August 26–30
• One-week closure in early September. Anticipated dates September 2–10

Slowed traffic flow on Industrial Way when trucks are back onto Discovery Trail:

• Three to five days of activity planned for August 12-16 and August 12-23.
• Three to five days of activity planned for September 2-10

Temporary southbound lane closures on Highway 99:

• One-to-two-day closures, anticipated dates: August 22-23
• Increased truck traffic on Industrial Way during construction.
