Adopting the Zero Carbon Step Code for New Homes in Squamish

The Zero Carbon Step Code (ZCSC) is a provincial building standard that is part of the BC Building Code. It is designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs) in new Part 3 and Part 9 homes.

Squamish is planning to adopt the ZCSC shortly, which will replace the current Low Carbon Density Incentive and we are looking for your ideas, comments, and feedback! Please take our short survey here and let us know your thoughts!
