Collaborative Input & Connections Workshop

When: March 31 - 02:00pm - 04:00pm

Where: Squamish DOX, 40446 Government Rd, Squamish, BC

Want to learn more about asset sharing for your Squamish business or community organization?

Are you a Squamish business, non-profit or community group interested in the potential of asset sharing?

The District has been reviewing opportunities to support asset sharing for Squamish organizations. Sharable assets include equipment, vehicles, space, human resources, waste, resources, or knowledge. Think trailers, event supplies, administrative support, infrequently needed tools, the list goes on.

If you have assets to share or are interested in asset sharing in Squamish, join us for a 2-hour collaborative input and connections workshop. There are two workshop times (duplicate sessions) available to attend and at each we will:

• Gather perspectives from attendees on potential asset sharing options for Squamish.

• Share insights from a review of best practice of asset sharing models and tools in other communities.

• Share results of Squamish business and resident asset sharing surveys.

• Support in-person connections for attendees to focus on asset sharing opportunities.

Space is limited so be sure to reserve your spot early. Registration is via Eventbrite here.

These workshops form part of an Asset Sharing Feasibility Study being undertaken by the District of Squamish as part of the Circular Economy Implementation Plan, and the funding has been provided by the Province of BC’s Rural Economic Diversification and Infrastructure Program (REDIP).
