Steep Slopes Open House

The District of Squamish has released draft Steep Slopes Development Permit Area DPA guidelines for public review.

The proposed new DPA will guide development on steep terrain to support public safety, reduce hazard risk, protect infrastructure, and minimize visual impacts.

We are inviting feedback from home builders, industry professionals, and community members before the guidelines are brought forward to Council.

Join us at an Open House on Thursday, April 9 at St. John the Divine Anglican Church, Garibaldi Estates:

• 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. → Home builders and development professionals
• 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. → Residents and general public

Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the draft guidelines, ask questions, and provide feedback. An online survey is also available at Let’s Talk Squamish.
