Madill/Garibaldi Avenue Sanitary Forcemain Replacement

Replacement the existing sanitary forcemain that currently runs down Madill/Buckley with a new line that will run down Madill/Garibaldi Avenue. Construction began in March 2026 and is currently paused while remediation work is underway. Construction is expected to be completed this summer.

- Description:
The replacement is noted as a priority in the Sanitary Sewer Master Plan due to the age of existing infrastructure. The alternate alignment down Garibaldi Avenue was preferred due to lack of existing infrastructure along this street and ease of future maintenance as Garibaldi has much less traffic than Buckley.

July 22, 2026: Remediation work is underway. As soon as more information is available, the construction restart date and the expected timeline will be provided.
