The 55 Activity Centre

Offers programming opportunities for health and wellness, visual and performing arts, social opportunities and events, education, and intergenerational connections for Squamish’s diverse population across a wide range of ages, interests, and abilities. The 55 offers a welcoming space for adults and those 55+ to meet and connect with other locals.

The Squamish 55+ Community Society:

The Squamish 55+ Community Society’s mission is to advocate for the needs and well-being of seniors by fostering a vibrant, inclusive and supportive community. The Society strives to connect individuals aged 55 and over, encourage physical and mental wellness and prevent isolation through meaningful relationships and social engagement. The Society aims to enhance the lives of seniors by organizing a wide range of social events, activities and programs to create opportunities for learning, friendship and a sense of belonging.
