Hiring and Selection Process

The hiring process at the District of Squamish includes:

  • Personal interviews for those candidates who have demonstrate the abilities and skills we are looking for in their resumes and cover letters. These interviews are opportunities for us to learn more about you and for you to learn more about us. You may be asked to supply references at this stage.
  • Reference check(s) for the short-listed candidate(s).
  • The successful candidate will receive an offer of employment or an employment contract for their signature and, if required for the position, a criminal records check.
