Planner 1 - Temporary Full-Time

The District is hiring a Temporary Full-Time Planner 1 who will assist in the administration and implementation of the current planning program of the District of Squamish. The Planner 1 responds to enquiries and correspondence from the general public, other Municipal departments, consultants, developers, agencies and other groups concerning matters of policy governing growth and development in the District of Squamish.

Project Manager 3 - Capital - Permanent Full-Time

The District is hiring a Project Manager 3 for our Capital Projects team. The Project Manager 3 manages a broad range of municipal design and construction projects including transportation, water, sewer, electrical, dike, park, solid waste, and other civic infrastructure. In addition, the Project Manager 3 oversees the full lifecycle of municipal infrastructure project delivery from initiation to close-out.


Project Engineer 2 - Infrastructure - Temporary Full-Time

We are hiring a Temporary Full-Time Project Engineer 2 for our Infrastructure team. The Project Engineer 2 works in Infrastructure Engineering and duties vary according to work assignment focusing on studies and master plans for municipal infrastructure, including water, sewer, stormwater, roads and flood protection. 

Custodian - Casual/On-Call

Do you have the ability to work independently, have high standards for cleanliness and a strong safety mindset? If so, apply today! This position is casual/on-call but can be busy, cleaning and performing maintenance and safety checks in a variety of District buildings. 


Recreation Facility Attendant II - Casual/On-Call

The District is hiring a casual/on-call Recreation Facility Attendant II to operate, maintain, repair and clean recreation facility and equipment. This role is responsible for operating ice making, pool filtration, janitorial equipment and minor servicing. You will also respond to emergencies as required to minimize risk of injury and/or damage to render the Facility secure. 


Director of Facilities & Sustainability - Permanent Full-Time

The District of Squamish is seeking an experienced leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as the Director of Facilities & Sustainability. This is a unique opportunity to lead the long-term strategic civic facility plans for the District and play a pivotal role in the growth and development of Squamish.  The Director is also responsible for the District's overall facility-related asset management program. In addition, this role provides strategic oversight for the District’s Sustainability team, leading environmental stewardship, waste management, and community focused climate action initiatives. Manager of IT Security & Infrastructure
