Toilet Replacement Rebate Program
Don't Flush Away Savings!
Upgrade your old toilet and save water. The District of Squamish is offering a limited-time rebate program - with $2,040 in total funding available (34 rebates) - to help reduce household water use and wastewater generation.
Older toilets use significantly more water and may leak over time. Replacing them with high-efficiency models helps conserve water and reduce household usage.

Frequently Asked Questions
Check the flush volume (usually inside the tank or on the fixture). It must be 13L per flush or greater.
The goal of the program is to permanently reduce water use in Squamish by removing older, high-volume toilets from circulation.
If toilets were reused or donated, they could continue to be installed and used elsewhere, which would reduce the overall water savings achieved through the program. Requiring recycling ensures these fixtures are fully removed from use.
Yes. Applications must be submitted within 90 days of purchase and while funding is available.
