Community Clean-Up & Zero Waste Events

Bring broken household items and work with local volunteer repair experts to fix them instead of replacing them. Repair Cafés are an opportunity to learn new repair skills, extend the life of everyday items, and reduce waste.

Exchange gently used children's clothing, toys, and books. Bring items to share, find something new-to-you, and help keep usable items in the community.

Exchange gently used clothing, shoes, accessories, and books for adults and teens. Bring items to share or browse for second-hand treasures while helping keep usable items out of the landfill.

All leftover items will be donated to local charities and Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver.

Join residents, schools, businesses, and community groups to help clean up parks, trails, roadsides, and public spaces throughout Squamish.

Donate or pick up reusable household items, furniture, tools, books, toys, and other useful goods. The fair helps extend the life of everyday items by connecting people who no longer need them with people who can use them.

What's accepted?

• Small appliances in good working order or in need of minor repair
• Books and Music
• Clothes
• Toys
• Large appliances in good working order
• Furniture, household items, garden tools, sports equipment, and pet accessories
• Fabrics including bed sheets and linens, crafting supplies, and stationery
• Games and seasonal items in reasonable condition

What's not accepted?

• TVs, computers, printers, VCRs (please recycle these at the Bottle Depot)
  
• Mattresses (recycle these at the landfill)
  
• Items broken or damaged beyond repair

Other important details:

• Folks will be asked to self-sort
• Volunteers will be on-site to help find the right location for items
• Items need to be clean and in working order
• We are unable to accept broken or dirty items
• We can only accept items that fit in the categories listed above
