Public Hearing - Development Permit No DP000623 - 2100 Newport Ridge

WHAT'S PROPOSED:
THAT the following variances be authorized by Council TO APPLY to the development of the parcel of land
within the District of Squamish, described as:
LOT 4 SECTIONS 11 AND 14 TOWNSHIP 50 DISTRICT LOT 511 GROUP 1 NEW WESTMINSTER DISTRICT
PLAN BCP4573 EXCEPT PLANS BCP11103 BCP24909 BCP38848 BCP40304 AND EPP90139
located at 2100 Newport Ridge Drive, Squamish, British Columbia.
The general intent and purpose of the proposed variance as part of Development Permit No. DP000623 is
to vary District of Squamish Bylaw 2200, 2011 as follows:
(i) Section 4.27 Table 4.27(d) be varied:
- From – Small Tree, Minimum Building Setback Radius of 2 m
- To – Small Tree, Minimum Building Setback Radius of 1 m
(ii) Section 12A.3 Development Regulations be varied:
- From – Maximum building height for Principal Buildings of 10.68 m.
- To – Maximum building height for Principal Buildings of 16.40 m.
(iii) Section 41.11(d)(i) Parking Access be varied:
- From – The access to all off-street parking in the form of driveways shall be a minimum of 6 metres in
length; or that no driveway is provided. - To – The access to all off-street parking in the form of driveways shall be a minimum of 0.7 m in
length; or that no driveway is provided.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
Persons who believe that their interests areaffected by the proposed amendments will have an opportunity to be heard and to present Written submissions for the Hearing. There are four waysto participate:

Written submission may be delivered to hearing@squamish.ca, or dropped off to the Corporate Officer at Municipal Hall before 3 p.m. on the date of the Hearing. - Telephone
Participate by telephone by calling 1 604-449-3026 and entering the Access Code 277 351 97595. Dial *3 to ‘raise your hand’ indicating that you’d like to speak. You will hear a message that “your line has been unmuted” when it is your turn to speak. - Electronic Participation

You may participate in person during the Hearing in Council Chambers at Municipal Hall, 37955 Second Avenue,

A copy of the proposed Development Permit No.DP000632 may be inspected at Municipal Hall (37955 Second Avenue) from July 17, 2025, to July 29, 2025, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding statutory holidays.
